Frontera Search are partnered with a in the space industry who require an AIT Manager to join and help them prepare for multiple launches. 

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of test engineers and ensure that all testing is performed to the highest standard
• Develop and implement testing strategies, procedures, and methodologies that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage the testing laboratory, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and repair
• Be able to follow and enforce cleanroom practices and procedures
• Ensure the safety of laboratory personnel and compliance with all safety regulations
• Monitor and report on laboratory performance metrics, including productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Train and develop laboratory staff in cleanroom procedures, electrostatic sensitive equipment use, and safety protocols
• Collaborate and manage availability of test facility with cross-functional teams to ensure testing is aligned with project timelines and objectives
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field of engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing and laboratory management
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of managing teams
• Experience in developing and implementing testing plans, procedures, and verification plans
• Knowledge of thermal vacuum equipment and vibration/shock equipment operation and laboratory safety protocols
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, aerospace) is a plus.
